Reproductive Rights. She describes herself as pro contraception
but does not make her position clear on birth control access and
emergency contraception.

• Palin proposed bans on certain books in libraries during
her tenure as Governor of Alaska. She has also advocated the
teaching of creationism in biology classes in schools.

• She opposes comprehensive immigration reform proposals
in the United States.

• Palin voiced her opposition against same sex marriages
and lashed out against a bill granting domestic partnership
benefits to same-sex partners of state employees.

• Her stance on civil rights bills and other issues
relating to racial justice are not clear.

• She is a strong supporter of Guns Rights and received an
A+ rating from the National Rifle Association in Alaska.

• Palin has not made her stand clear on counter terrorism
issues also.

• She is accused of extending conservative hostility to

• She recognized March 20th as HIV day and prompted the
people of Alaska to observe this day with appropriate activities
and programs.

• Palin supported Equal Pay for Equal Work and not the
Ledbetter Act. She strongly opposed women being paid less than a
man for a day's work.

• Sarah Palin is a feminist and a strong protector of
women's rights. She said her plan was to move on a ticket of
reform therefore she would ask for support from women but would
not go out to woo them.
		

• Mike Huckabee favors a federal ban on Abortion.

• He is a Death penalty Retentionist having witnessed 17
executions in his state of Arkansas while serving as governor.

• Apart from this he is an extremely progressive
Republican on most criminal justice issues.

• Huckabee voiced his opinion that certain Federal
campaign finance reform proposals would violate the First
Amendment.

• He is a strong supporter of immigrant's rights. He
opposed a proof of citizenship voting law, discouraged government
raids and supported an instate tuition rate for undocumented
residents.

• At the same time he also supports increased border
security.

• Huckabee opposes the Employment Non discrimination Act
and the addition of sexual orientation and gender identity to
federal hate crime laws.

• He has repeatedly criticized racial disparities in the
criminal justice system and is known to have established a racial
reconciliation initiative in Arkansas in 1997.

• He strongly supports the rights to bear arms and has an
A+ rating from the National Rifles Association.

• He is known to be the best republican candidate on civil
liberties issues following 9/11 and has voiced his disgust
against torture and ethnic profiling and has called for the
Guantanamo bay.

• Huckabee has been recognized as the mainstream politics
best candidate for Social conservatism and not be underestimated
at any cost.
